Position Summary:
- Possesses the ability to take abstract concepts and minimal corporate visualization and turn them into visually exciting, cutting-edge CD-ROMs, animations, video, kiosks, games, etc that are Web and CD-ROM friendly, representative of the client’s goals, within branding guidelines, communicative of, and beneficial to the user experience
- Works closely with the design team, studio staff, and teammates to extend the breadth of user experience
- Develops creative concepts to push the limits of design and make award-winning multimedia presentations, CD-ROMs, kiosks, presentations, games, and digital video
- Presents creative concepts to clients; defends and fights for creative license
- Incorporates client feedback as appropriate
- Create comps, storyboards, and animatics if needed
- Helps direct art directors and designers on pushing the limits of what can be done with media elements on kiosks, CD-ROMs, games, presentations, and Web sites
- Follows the creative process and helps communicate the capabilities of interactive multimedia to the design team
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Creative Director
- At least 3-5 years of agency (or in-house agency) interactive experience
- Multimedia experience and a degree in design or computer science
- Ability to collaborate closely with others in a team environment under tight deadlines
- Ability to clearly articulate and present designs to clients and communicate consistent style guidelines that can be efficiently executed
- In-depth knowledge of Director, Flash, 3D software, video editing, sound tools, PhotoShop, Illustrator, Freehand, Flash After Effects, Premiere, animation techniques, SoundEdit, Acrobat, writing/editing, color theory, and typography are a plus
- Commanding knowledge of programming-scripting language
- Ability to read and digest One Show, CA, and other award manuals
- Portfolio of highly creative work
