Description:
- Provides strategic leadership to the Account, Creative, and Client teams for anti-infective account.
- Proactively challenges and addresses Client needs for long-term future (i.e. beyond current/next sales period).
- Encourages and provides for growth and development of AS/AE Staff Assistants.
- Coordinates and prioritizes activity among accounts.
- Manages/steps in to challenge Client activities when necessary.
- Anticipates and resolves Agency problems with workload, staffing, etc., having the benefit of a more global view.
- Consistently submits proposals to Client with new ideas/programs to address new marketing issues.
- Hires, trains, and supervises Account Supervisors, challenges and enhances growth and development of Account Supervisors, Account Executives, and Staff Assistants, as appropriate.
- Runs account as a separate business unit-makes management aware of problems and successes, as well as profitability and staffing needs.
- Helps to install knowledge, acceptance, and integration of agency innovations with Clients and Agency staff.
- BA/BS
- At least 2-3 years experience in a pharmaceutical advertising agency background on Direct-to-Professional accounts.
- Previous client-side experience desired but not required.
- Experience managing and mentoring junior account staff.
- Must be a great communicator.
- Must have dedication to providing outstanding client service and thrive on multi-tasking.
