Description:
Our client seeks a full-time Associate Medical Director with a PharmD, MD, DO, PhD or PA degree with pharmacy background and/or experience in medical communications or pharmaceutical industry.
Major role will be to apply scientific knowledge to the evaluation and review of medical content for promotional programs for overall scientific or medical accuracy as well as analysis and develop clinical information for physician targeted programs.
Development of medical content comprises creating clinical slide presentations, drafting manuscripts, executive summaries from medical meetings, creating patient cases, and scientific posters. Position includes client and physician interaction/liaison requiring travel to client and medical association meetings and programs. Position requires a highly detail-oriented individual, exposure to deadline-driven workplace, and excellent oral and written skills.
Responsibilities include:
- Understanding and assimilating clinical data and medical information
- Recognizing strategic messages, program goals, and their integration into program materials
- Ensuring accuracy and highest quality of content across multiple therapeutic areas
