Overview
This role is critical to content planning and development and is critical to the success of the agency in that is has great impact on client satisfaction, quality, schedule, cost, and profit. Our client is looking for the right Senior Medical Writer to develop monographs, slide kits, sales rep materials, and other medical communications. In this role, you will develop and write high-quality, evidence based educational or promotional vehicles such as monographs, slide kits, poster presentations, teleconferences, Web casts, Web sites, and video scripts. You will interact with key clinicians to develop program content and you will attend advisory meetings and medical conferences.
Requirements
- Requires strong scientific background, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work on multiple projects with tight deadlines.
- Advanced science degree is required, while a PhD, PharmD, or MD is preferred.
- Previous pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, or agency experience is a plus, but not essential.
- Experience with one or more of these categories is very desirable:
- Hospital Medicine
- Pain
- Oncology
- The ability to travel is required.
