The Account Manager has global responsibility for managing the client’s marketing communications programs from concept development through program delivery, and assuring that client’s objectives are met in terms of program quality and on-time delivery. Responsibilities include:
- Day-to-day client contact to identify and translate marketing objectives into strategic medical communications/education programs
- Developing ideas for programs and time and events for executing these programs
- Developing proposals, budgets, estimates of job cost, and profitability
- Lead a team of Project Managers and Marketing Associates through guidance, delegation, and follow-up; and significant interaction with the client
- Collaborate with editorial and creative teams to develop marketing/communications strategies and program content
- Lead brainstorming sessions to develop ideas for programs
- Work with New Business Development Teams to develop proposals, budgets, and presenting company capabilities/business pitches to clients
- Bachelors degree
- Two years related pharmaceutical marketing, communications, or health education experience
- Ability to define and respond to client needs, working effectively under tight deadlines
- Proven client management experience
