Position Summary
Takes responsibility for executing the day-to-day project coordination, administrative and accreditation program support.
Serve as accreditation coordinator which includes:
- Employ a working understanding of the accreditation issues and trends in the CME/CNE/CPE environment and apply to all processes
- Demonstrate a well-rounded knowledge and skill set of continuing education guidelines and compliance support for all activities
- Process evaluation data and develop evaluation summaries for each activity; distribute summaries to staff, faculty and supporters
- Process and mail certificates
- Proof continuing education program materials for accreditation components
- Assist with surveys and needs assessments
- Maintain accreditation activity files to ensure all appropriate documentation is placed in activity files
- Review status of activities weekly with Director to determine accreditation status of all jobs
- Build PowerPoint presentations
- Assures accreditation procedures and policies are maintained
- Employ a basic understanding of the client’s product/service, industry and competitive environment
- Demonstrate a well-rounded knowledge and skill set of project management and continuing medical education
- Participate in internal and external meetings/conference calls generating job requisitions, action requests, conference call reports and expense reports
- Possess excellent communication skills, to include proper phone and email etiquette
- Possess exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects
- Ability to maneuver and have a full knowledge of multiple computer software systems, including the internet
- Organizational Skills: Can marshal and use resources (data management, people, ACCME, ANCC and ACPE, funding, material, support) effectively and efficiently; can perform multiple tasks at once; arranges information in a useful manner
- Process Management: Good at figuring out the processes necessary to get things done; knows how to organize people and activities; understands how to separate and combine tasks into efficient work flow; Knows what to measure and how to measure it; gets more out of fewer resources
- Attention to Detail: produces accurate work, even when under pressure; checks the accuracy of information before using it or passing on to others

- College degree in relevant field
- 1-2 years experience in database design and data management (ACCESS, Excel and other database products
- 1-2 years relevant accreditation experience
- Advanced computer skills in all Microsoft office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) as well as database management systems
