Summary of the position:
The Medical Research Assistant (MRA) is responsible for supporting content development duties in the department of Medical Affairs. These duties will involve the delivery of clinical data and key scientific information to clients in order to support brand strategy objectives. The MRA will work alongside Scientific Content Consultants (SCC) to work closely with clients and key opinion leaders developing content that communicates complex scientific information to medical professionals. Strong interpersonal skills are required to develop and strengthen key relationships with clients and key thought leaders in multiple therapeutic areas.
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in medical or scientific field
- Strong analytical, conceptual, and administrative skills
- Prior knowledge and experience with basic science or clinical research, clinical trials, and/or investigator-initiated studies
- Skilled in critical review of scientific manuscripts and abstracts
- Significant learning ability required to maintain/achieve scientific expertise and credibility in scientific market
- High level of sensitivity to the relative needs of the clients
- Good problem-solving skills
- Teamwork with external clients and internal customers
- Excellent planning and organizational skills
- Commitment to excellence
