Description:
Objective:
The Associate will be responsible for contributing to the research, planning, and development of publication strategies for assigned compounds. The Associate will write, substantively edit, and review content of strategic publications (abstracts, posters, manuscripts, presentations, etc) and will adhere to all relevant publication requirements.
Accountabilities:
- Plan, writes, and substantively edits, and reviews strategic publications, and adheres to associated time lines of all ongoing projects and all relevant publication requirements.
- Achieves abstract and journal submissions of completed studies according to plan.
- Works with relevant cross-functional publication and writing teams to execute publication strategies and provide guidance in the preparation and submission of strategic publications.
- Ensures accuracy of manuscript content, coordinates reviews, collates reviewers’ comments, and prepares or manages preparation of final submissions.
- Coordinates approval and release of publications in consultation with writing and publication teams.
- May manage writing activities with external authors, including investigators and thought leaders.
- Bachelor’s degree
- 2 years of pharmaceutical or biomedical writing experience
- Previous experience with peer-reviewed scientific publications.
- Advanced degree.
- Experience writing manuscripts from Clinical Trials
- Ability to travel to various professional meetings, conferences, and client sites - limited overnight.
- Some international travel may be required.
