Full-service, Continuing Medical Education (CME) agency that services strategic development and implementation of long-term medical education programs.
Description:
The Medical Editor will be responsible for copy editing and proofing of assigned materials and projects through their completion.
Responsibilities are as follows:
- Informs Medical Directors, Program Directors and Art Studio of significant editorial issues on assigned materials.
- Maintains ongoing dialogue with Medical and Program Directors to ensure materials are edited according to client and/or our client’s specifications.
- Monitors and adapts to changes in AMA style.
- Develops and maintains house style.
- The Editor will interact with Program Services, Scientific Services, Operations, Creative, Desktop, Production, Word Processing, Traffic and Freelance Editors.
- The Editor will report directly to a supervising Senior Editor.
- 3 - 5 years experience in Medical Editing is required
- College Degree
- Continuing Medical Education (CME) experience is a must
- Medical Education Agency experience is also required.
