Description:
Our client seeks an Manager of New Business Development. Candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities and maintain and establish accounts with pharmaceutical/biotech companies located in the Midwest.
Responsibilities include:
- Development and execution of marketing campaigns generating capabilities meetings and eventually commissioned business
- Identifying new business opportunities with established clients
- Developing and maintaining status reports and communicating project status with clients
- Provision of weekly status reports regarding business development activities
- Daily input of business activities in company software
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- Concentration in science or social science preferred
- Master’s degree preferred
- 5+ years experience working in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry
- Must include at least 3 years sales experience
- Strong understanding of both market research and medical communication required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Extreme attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and solution oriented
- Must understand the psychology of selling
- Ability to work in team environment and manage deadlines
- Must be able to balance the needs of external clients as well as internal clients
- Travel flexibility required
- Demonstrated expertise in Outlook, PowerPoint and Word
