Description:
We are seeking a talented and strategic Interactive Account Manager within medical education to join our rapidly growing team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Expert client manager that provides strategic value to all projects large and small
- Creates and drafts scopes of work and estimates
- Provides clear and timely direction to all other agency departments regarding the project via team meetings, work orders, work order revisions, creative/media briefs,
- Works closely with project management resources to ensure timelines, project plans, resources, and scope is adhered to
- Coordinates client/brand team meetings, including project kick-off meetings, weekly update meetings and periodic update meetings with the client
- Managing all day-to-day client account activities
- Maintains a focus on the short-term deliverables, concurrent with a firm understanding of client’s long-term goals
- Builds long lasting relationships and trust with partner clients
- Minimum of 4 years experience at an interactive advertising/medical education company. Managing multiple projects for multiple business stakeholders.
- Strong background in interactive work including strategic direction of all interactive programs including: web site development, CD ROMs, email, database management, online activity promotion, webcasting, speaker’s bureaus, and CME programs.
- Background in an interactive agency environment or history of working with advertising agencies.
- Track record of building successful client relationships.
- Experience in leading small, medium, and large projects
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and act as a conduit between the Business Development team and the execution team.
- A strong customer service orientation and the ability to form long-term customer relationships
- Must possess strong verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills, a positive attitude and the ability to thrive in a collaborative agency environment
- The ability to successfully organize, prioritize and manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment
- Effective problem-solving skills, specifically the ability to assess situations, evaluate options and make decisions/draw conclusions
- A strong track record of expanding business with existing customers
