Position Description
This position will partner with our Managed Care team to develop contracting strategies and operating policies for all U.S. Managed Care business. Will be responsible for providing financial and business insight to derive the most optimum risk sharing, pricing strategies, contract language, and customer profitability for managed care contracts. Also, will develop complex pricing/profitability models and assumptions, interpret results and make recommendations to senior management on methods to improve market share, contract profitability, cash flow and return on investment.
Position Requirements
- B.S. degree Business, Finance or Accounting, MBA highly desirable.
- 7+ yrs comprehensive knowledge of managed care philosophy, prescription drug benefits, and pharmaceutical contracting principles.
- 10+ yrs accounting and finance experience including concepts and practices as they apply to broad cross-functional strategy and decisions.
- Extremely effective interpersonal skills with an ability to influence management and network across functions and be a participative and effective member of a mid-to-senior-level management team.
- Knowledge of database and reporting systems helpful (e.g., CARS/Medicaid)
